American Redstart (Setophaga ruticilla)

This fellow is very small. Looking up in my “compendium” of birds in Quebec, I  think it may be a American Redstart?

  1. I’d say you’re right. If he was around long enough for you to see if he occasionally flicked his tail open and closed rapidly, that would seal it.
