Angrignon Park, 2015
Spring has arrived, the battery of my brand new Nikon D7100 fully loaded and I am in best mood to continue my hunt for photos of different species where I stopped last year in autumn. This weekend I went to Angrignon park, just a step outside of the Montreal metro green line end station Angrignon.
I have spotted a Great Blue Heron three weeks ago when the lake was still frozen. This time I was a bit more lucky and able to catch a nice photo in flight. Although, I miss the large zoom from my Canon Powershot. Currently I have only a 18-140 mm zoom, which is close to useless for birds.
Anyway, a 300 mm lenses may follow, and for the time being I enjoy the super fast focus of my current gear :)
