Whenever I was looking forward on a day off with the opportunity to go out into parks, I started to check weather forecast with the hope that I will have sunshine and therefore good light conditions for photography. As my days off are not frequent, what disappointment when another opportunity passes due to overcast.

Last Sunday I got tricked by a short period of not more that 5 minutes with sunshine and with the hope that it will happen again, I packed my camera and ran out into the nearest park. Obviously, the sun didn’t return for the rest of the day.

However, what a surprise later at the computer when I played around with saturation and Viveza 2 filter. The colors are there! It just needed a bit more care during post-processing. But convince yourself:

Although, another myth maintained its validity. If you are out after noon, don’t expect to much wildlife activity. That’s why the spotted species are very common. Lesson learned, next time I will be out even with overcast although a few hours earlier.
