A large frog native to the Montreal area. Light brown or green with large dark circular spots. Found in ponds, along rivers and lakes in spring while in summer they move to grassy plans.
In spring during the mating season in ponds, later in grassy areas along ponds, rivers and lakes.
The circular dark brown spots are a distinctive characteristics.
