Wild Bergamot - Monarda fistulosa

Wild Bergamot is a native flower in Quebec, growing up to 1m tall. It grows in dry fields, thickets and clearings, blooming from June to September. The plant is considered a medicinal plant by Native Americans.

How to Identify

A plant up to 1m tall with long lance-shaped and toothed leaves. A branch carries a compact cluster of flowers with violet petals.
