New Gear: I got the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8
It happens from time to time that I get aware of new gear and rarely I get so stuck to a particular one so that I have to own it as soon as possible. In parallel, I feel uncomfortable horting gear which aligns with my tendency to throw away whatever I am not using frequently.
I heard about the Nikkor S 24-70mm f/2.8 which would resolve my issues with wide angle photography. But I won’t allow the purchase of such a costly new lens if in return I am not able to sell some of my old gear. As the new lens is a bit pricey I sold whatever I had and kept only the Nikon Z6 body, one camera bag and the tripod with video head.
Here I am now, satisfied by having been able to get rid of so many items paying for the one new thing, the $3k CAD Nikkor S 24-70mm f/2.8, which I desperately wanted to own. My gear page has been updated.
