Park Île Bizard

Nature Park Île Bizard has a pond with surrounding wetland embedded in a large forest. The park is located on an island west of Montreal downtown.

How to Get Here

Although possible using public transportation with metro and buses, the trip from Montreal downtown to Park Île Bizard takes almost 2 hours. An option is getting here by bike. It isn’t faster but during the ride along Prairies River you may enjoy other parks like Nature Park Bois du Saraguay and Nature Park Bois de Liesse.

What to See Here

With its large forest area and embedded swamp, this park is place of a large number of different species adopted to these ecosystems. The remote location of this park makes it less populated allowing you to spot species which prefer avoiding getting close to persons.
