Word Reveal Game
Reveal the species, stripe by stripe. Inspired by the classic "hangman" game, each wrong letter uncovers more of the photo until the full image — and the answer — appear. This calm, nature-based twist turns guessing into a moment of discovery, helping you recognize Québec’s native wildlife through real images from MUUUH Nature Documentaries’ authentic collection.
Game Rules
The goal is to guess the species name before the full photo is revealed. Each wrong letter uncovers one stripe of the hidden image, bringing you closer to the end of the game.
The game begins with a randomly selected Quebec species and a photo completely hidden by nine stripes.
On Each Turn:
- Select a letter from the alphabet to guess part of the species name
- Correct letters appear in their positions
- Wrong letters reveal one stripe of the photo
End of Game:
- If you complete the name before the photo is fully revealed, you win.
- If the photo is revealed first, the round ends and you lose.

Learning & Exploration
Each round of the Word Reveal Game offers more than entertainment — it’s an opportunity to observe and appreciate the beauty of Québec’s native species. As you play, the combination of guessing and gradual image reveal transforms curiosity into recognition.
The featured animals come directly from MUUUH Nature Documentaries’ authentic wildlife archive, photographed and filmed in their natural environments across the province. Each appearance reflects real field encounters, inviting you to connect with the diversity of habitats and behaviors that make Québec’s fauna unique.
Through this calm and visually engaging experience, the game encourages players to learn at their own pace — letter by letter, image by image. What begins as a simple guessing challenge becomes a gateway to explore and remember the richness of Québec’s natural world.
Note from the Creator
I design and code every MUUUH interactive experience as part of an ongoing dialogue between fieldwork and storytelling. The Word Reveal Game extends this idea — turning real photographs of Québec’s wildlife into a slow, mindful act of discovery. As each stripe of the image appears, it mirrors the process of recognizing a species in nature: patience, observation, and quiet curiosity. Through this blend of creativity and technology, I hope to offer a calm, authentic way to connect with the living world around us.
