Explore Mont Saint-Hilaire - Hiking & Nature in Quebec

A small hill serving as an excellent option for hiking tours. The hill is covered with a deciduous forest and featuring an embedded lake. The area is place of University McGill environmental studies and large areas within the park are not accessible to maintain nature undisturbed.

Habitats: Forest, Woodland, Shrubland, Pond

How to get to Mont Saint-Hilaire

Car only. Parking is provided. To access the park you have to pay a fee and reserve in advance. Visit the parks website for more information.

I visited this park taking a bus from Montreal to Beloeil and hiked up to the highest point not through the official entrance to the park. My impression though that usually, this way to access the place isn't allowed.

What to See Here

Because of the large, protected forest area, this park is place for all wildlife with preference of deciduous forests except Wolverine and Black Bear. Additionally, the large pond surround by forest provides additional variety.
