Photography Tips
Every year in May and June, we head to this park to record frogs. The pond allows you to get close to the water surface and take photos of amphibians very close. We shot some spectacular photos of amphibians here.
This park is renown for Wood Duck (Aix sponsa). Because they are nesting in this park, you will be able to take photos of ducklings in spring.
Carry with you a long lens for opportunities to take photos of birds of prey: Red-shouldered Hawk (Buteo lineatus), Cooper's Hawk (Accipiter striatus) and Eastern Screech-Owl (Megascops asio). Particularly late winter, very early spring.
