False Sunflower (Heliopsis helianthoides)
False Sunflower (Rough Oxeye; Smooth Oxeye; Heliopsis helianthoides) is a native high growing flower with yellow “petals”. In the wild, H. helianthoides can be found in woodland, prairies and along roadsides.

Where and When to Spot
This flower is blooming late July and August and can be found in woodland, prairies and along roadsides. It is abundant in Park Champ des Possibles.
